At Mma Chabi's place
On Christmas Day some of us from our local church took out some donations that had been collected by the church for the orphans staying at Mma Chabi's place. Mma Chabi is a Motswana lady that is living with HIV, she was very ill but managed to get on antiretroviral drugs and has regained some of the her strength. The biggest change was not in her body but in her spirit. She rededicated her life to Christ and felt led by the Lord to open up her home to as many orphans as she could. She feeds nearly a 100 children a day and many of the children are now living with her permanetly. Please pray for her and the children. Love, Michele

Marathon Baby shower

These are the Grace Fellowship Ladies that completely surprised me the Monday I got back from Knoxville. What a hoot.

We laughed, saying there are no tigers in Africa, but then I said "there will be!!!" Isn't this Tiger robe the cutest.

Thank you all so much, and we praise the Lord for his special gifts to us.
love,
Michele

My Brother's furry friends

My brother Mark and his family had the happy occation of buying their first house. While I was in the states we all went over for Chinese at his new place. It was my sister's family of five, my mom and Dad, Mark's family of four, myself and lots of furry creatures. Mark has a ferret, chinchilla, chipmunk, two kittens, and a Basithound. (I don't think I spelled half of those right, oh well) Plus my sister brought over her dog as well. What a riot.
Nephew Will, holding Madison's (Mark's oldest daughter) kitten.

Mark's youngest daughter, Marisa, and her kitten.

Me and the chinchilla (not sure how to spell that)

Mark and nephew Kyle with the chipmunk that Mark's youngest daughter found as a baby in the yard.

Michele
